The Crane series is a cut-flower type Flowering Kale. Extremely long lasting in arrangements and bouquets, Crane makes a stunning visual statement due to its beautiful form.
Stem length is 24 – 35″ (60 – 90 cm). Crane is very uniform in height and head size.

NOTES:
• Netting is recommended, plants will fall over and produce curved stems otherwise
• Plants spaced more than 6” will produce heads that are very large and possibly not marketable
• When plants are 10” tall, remove lower leaves. This should be repeated 3 or 4 times as the plant grows
taller.
From a September sowing:
o Give plants adequate fertilizer during your growing stage
o Plants should begin to color about mid-NOV
o Fertilization should be stopped once the heads color
o Plants should be ready to harvest around january
