Timing is everything
Getting your crop sown, grown and off to market right on schedule is every grower’s fondest wish. Dreams delivers a well-matched Spring bloom time window across all colours. No need to pick and choose from several series…now that’s a dream come true!

Plug crop time: 5 to 6 weeks
Transplant to finish: 5 to 6 weeks

    • Well-branched habit and plant structure assure a high-quality look and excellent performance.
  • Temperature:Plug culture: 22-24 ˚C until radicle emergence and then reduce to 20-21 ˚C. The temperature can be lowered on approximately day 5. Once cotyledons have expanded lower the temperature further to 18-20 ˚C.Growing on: Maintain temperatures > 13 °C nights for the first 6 weeks to initiate flower bud development; night temperatures can be lowered further to 10 °C to encourage basal branching and compactness; however – lower temperatures may also substantially decrease the number of flowers initiated; growing at cooler temperatures will produce a higher quality plant. An ADT (average daily temperature) of 19 ˚C will give the fastest finished crop.
  • Fertilization:Plug culture: Maintain an EC < 1.0Growing on: Fertilization: Feed at 100-200 ppm nitrogen. Under high light conditions, apply an ammonium-based feed (17-5-17).To prevent stretching under low light conditions apply a calcium-based feed (14-4-14). Under high light and long days an ammonium-based feed (20-10-20) is preferred
  • PETUNIA DREAM SALMON GERMINATION STAGES (FROM SEED TO FINISHED YOUNG PLANT)

Petunia Dream salmon Stage I Starts with the radicle breaking through the testa. The roots are touching the medium. Ends with fully developed cotyledons.
Stage II Starts from fully developed cotyledons. Ends with the fully developed true leaf or true leaf pair.
Stage III Starts from the fully developed true leaf or true leaf pair and ends with 80% of the young plants being marketable.
Stage IV All young plants are ready for sale and in the process of being hardened off. This stage lasts about 7 days.

The cultural recommendations are based on results from trials conducted under Central European conditions. Different conditions in other parts of the world may lead to deviations in results acheived.
